Summary
Just a normal day in Ninjago after the Skull Sorcerer is defeated in Shintaro as the ninja do their job of keeping the peace, but when they go on a mission to fight some baddies as per usual everything goes wrong; Lloyd is transported to another realm and must find a way to survive in this new world as the others scramble to try to find a way to him and get him back. Nothing however is as it seems as Lloyd finds hidden secrets rooted in the realm that could threaten all others and his Oni and Dragon heritage begin take hold within him. When the Ninja finally arrive in the realm Lloyd is nowhere to be found, but something is brewing. How long has Lloyd been stuck in this other realm? Where is he? Is he alive? And who is be trusted as an ancient prophecy is about to be fulfilled.

Maybe it's the ominous voiceover in the commercials, or the fact that it's popped up in over a dozen different locations in Ninjago City this past month alone, or the fact that it's all anyone on the internet seems to want to talk about anymore, but something about "Epiphany Enterprises," the new aromatherapy spa resort or whatever it is, just doesn't seem quite right.
Between that and the whole communal shared dream-world thing going on—not to mention their invasive butterfly infestation problem—it seems like the ninja have their work cut out for them yet again.
But surely it's nothing they can't handle. It may be a little weird that the more they look into it, the more those three things seem to be connected...but butterflies, weird dreams, and sketchy spas aren't exactly ninja-level threats anyway, right?

With his track record and absolutely terrible excuse of signature luck, you would've thought that nothing could surprise him at this point. But in his defence, Lloyd supposes that not ever expecting this warranted an excuse at least. Especially during a time like now.
...all he'd done was gone to sleep. For crying out loud—that was basically it, so how the hell—
Or; Five days after witnessing his brothers' deaths at the hands of the Colossus, Lloyd gets a chance, a chance to go back, live again and fix it all, while in the body of the kid he hates the most.
And surprisingly, it soon turns out that he isn't the only one with such luck.
