Mike stares and stares and stares as time seems to slow, a grin slowly breaking out on his face. He watches Will snap the demogorgons bones and fall to his knees. He watches blood slowly trickle from his nose and him bringing up his hand to wipe it away. And then he watches as Will's eyes roll back into his head and he collapses into a heap onto the floor.

Summary
Canon Divergence: After Kell loses his battle with Holland Vosijk, he finds himself bound to serve in White London... but it's Holland Vosijk he serves. Holland finally has the final piece of his plan to free himself from Astrid and Athos Dane. Kell realizes the enormity of things he did not know about White London, the Antari, and Holland himself, while Astrid Dane's plans for Arnes move towards terrible, bloody fruition.
Meanwhile, Lila Bard and Rhy Maresh struggle to deal with the consequences of Kell's disappearance and the knowledge that they may have to plan to face down Kell himself, on the Danes' command.
Holland is desperate for control. Kell is desperate to escape. And Rhy, healing slowly from the effects of Kell's terrible and wonderful gift, is desperate to find him as he endures Kell's pain.

Summary
Perona is sick of Zoro moping about. She is sick of him taking out his anger at her. But most of all, she is sick of feeling like a ghost in this castle- even if she may be a ghost princess.
She remembers how it feels to be separated from your friends. That period without Kumashi was the absolute worst. But that doesn't give that stupid swordsman the right to make her feel like shit. Maybe she needed to make him a Kumashi of his own. Maybe- wait, yes....It started with Luffy. It was a tiny little doll filled with straw that stared at him the same way his captain did. It calmed him, a bit. But then Perona made more. Each one more intricate than the last. And each one somehow embodying a small piece of the original's soul. Don't ask him how that worked.
But, he hates to admit it, they became his silent companions, each one holding a piece of his fragmented world together. So what was he supposed to do with them now that he was finally going to reunite with the real versions? And how was he going to explain that they've become essential to him, especially a certain blond plush...?
