Inspired by the photo of Erling chopping wood.
Jude knew Erling was strong, of course he knew. By god, the tall Norwegian Viking could carry 3 men on his back without a sweat. It was a completely normal, well known fact.
But watching his husband out in the backyard of their vacation home, chopping wood in that almost sinful grey wifebeater that exposed his huge muscular arms, those large veiny hands…it was doing something unholy to Jude’s system. Jude bit his lip, completely aroused just watching the raw display of strength.
A filthy, shameless realisation crept up his spine: Jude imagined he was a man utterly trapped. Trapped deep in the middle of nowhere, far from anyone who could hear his scream, hear him moan, trapped by this massive 6’5 towering Nordic lumberjack, completely claimed, provided for, and dominated, completely at his mercy.

It’s only when their eyes meet again that Langa recognizes the emotion swirling there. And suddenly, everything fell into place. Reki skipping lectures. The slight clenching of his fists. The subtle tension in his jaw.
Jealousy.
The newfound knowledge of what he must mean to Reki stoked the flame in his stomach, and he felt it grow until it threatened to envelop him, burning away any prior inhibitions.
Reki watched with bated breath as he drew closer, until their faces were mere inches apart.
“For what it’s worth, I don’t agree with them. He’s not my type,” he drew closer still, his warm breath dancing across the skin of Reki’s earlobe, “would you like to know what my type is?”

Langa nods. “That must be nice.”
“Do you have a destiny?” Reki asks before he can stop himself.

Langa believes he and Reki will be together forever, but the return of Reki's childhood friend disrupts the relationship he was certain would lead to romance. He certainly wasn't expecting he'd end up as Reki's fake boyfriend or for their promise of infinity to fade when he returns to Canada
Now Langa’s last scrap of hope that Reki might like him has withered and died. Until this moment he clung to the idea that Reki cluelessly thought he was straight and would eventually realize his romantic love for Langa—but he likes guys! He already knew he likes guys! He just never told Langa he was gay or bi or had a boyfriend.
Hearing Reki laugh and brush him off once again, Langa realizes that maybe their paths aren’t so clear. Maybe for Reki, they’ll run in parallel forever. Maybe he never really had a chance.
