Summary
After the crew commits mutiny, they're relationship with Odysseus is incredibly strained. The bonds they had are broken, and now they're just trying to get home.
No one realized the toll it's taken on their Captain.
(I wrote this at a ludicrous hour while sleep deprived so of things don't make sense sorry qwq also hypothetically they did not go to the island to slay Helios' cow, basically a 'what if they lived' type beat I suppose? Anyway enjoy)

Summary
Glancing in past the door left ajar, Odysseus sees Telemachus and a tall figure standing at the window, facing the sea beyond. The figure - a woman - ruffles Telemachus’s hair familiarly as he bends over in laughter. There are scars all over the woman’s body, and her half-armor is battered and dented and of a make unlike anything Odysseus has yet seen in Ithaca. He’s curious, perhaps slightly suspicious - because being back with his family has softened his heart but it has not dulled his edge - and leans in to get a better view.
And then Odysseus sees her face, recognizes her, and lets out a sound like he’s been punched.

Then again, Athena had always been his favorite; no matter how much anger the king of the gods had for his child at that moment, he would still fill out the request that she had asked of him "Since you willingly endured all of this, I have decided to be merciful and let the man go."
Athena did not respond to this, however. She just lay there; motionless.

It didn’t take long for Odysseus to notice Poseidon’s… Interest.
It wasn’t that noticeable at first, but he’d spent too long on the edge not to see it. The way the god’s eyes followed the curve of his neck. The way he stared when Odysseus brought a fork to his lips. The way his breath stuttered whenever Odysseus accidentally pulled on the shackles too hard.
Mere days ago, he would have hated it. He would have growled or cursed or told Poseidon to keep his eyes to himself.
Now, though…

Poseidon is stuck on Ithaca without his powers, but he's healing. And as he heals, he begins to notice he likes Odysseus a bit more than he should. Odysseus knows. Penelope knows. One midnight conversation later, a plan is formed, and shenanigans ensue. Mostly of the wild flirting variety.

Summary
Odysseus has succeeded in doing what very few have: he's bested a god. More precisely, the one that has been keeping him away from his home for the past 10 years. But Poseidon is left unmoved, and refuses to let him back home even now.
One would think that resorting to drastic measures- such as, say, stabbing the Lord of Tides with his own trident- would do the trick.
But it's never that simple with gods. Especially not one as monstrous as Poseidon.
(In other words: how I think the torture scene in 600 Strikes should've gone.)

After Odysseus stays up for 9 days on end in an attempt to protect the wing bag, he is beyond tired. Eurylochus, while in the middle of a crisis on whether he should chose the crew’s side or the captain’s, notices and rejects cannon by deciding to be a decent friend.

The crew, the one last solitary ship, remained still on a windless sea, going no direction for the whole night. Odysseus was returned to them at the crack of dawn, neither beast, nor the man from Ithaca.
He’d only said one thing. “We are free of debt” with none of the triumph the accomplishment would require. The ship started to move, not a lot, but at least it was something different than the stillness of the night, and the crew allowed themselves to breathe.or

Odysseus was finally home. His raft had finally touched the sand on the shores of Ithaca. But just as he's about to leave the water behind, he notices a group of men ambush a ship armed with weapons. It's really not his problem, right?
Of course, he gets involved anyway. There's just a feeling in his gut that he'd regret it otherwise. Besides, he met this nice young man who he's sure would be great friends with his son.

Telemachus honestly thought the old man that showed up and started killing the suitors was a god in a shoddy disguise. He reacted accordingly, doing everything he could to help the man and keep him happy. It's not until the old beggar walks Telemachus up to the palace that he realizes who this really is.

"Choose." The god stated, keeping a firm grip on the mortal's chin.
"Choose...?" He muttered. "Someone's gotta die today and you have got the final say." Odysseus looked at his crew with fear.
"You," Zeus paused, still gripping his hand on Odysseus' chin. He showed a grin as he forced the mortal's head to his crew.
Zeus finished, "Or your crew?" Odysseus' eyes widened. But then, a light flickered in Odysseus' mind. Circe tried to seduce him and tried to kill him during that. Zeus, who is in love with making love with anything he sees, would maybe fall for it. Odysseus gave a lustful fake smirk as he looked back at Zeus.
(Or, Odysseus rizzes up Zeus and it somehow fucking works)
