Summary
The Imperium of Man is but a shadow of itself after Horus' betrayal forced humanity into several scisms that bore empires of their own.
One such empire was the Empire of Iron, the greatest one of them all, with perhaps the most iconic and harmonious ruling couple in the entire galaxy, or so the Ferrokarbideum studying these times long past were convinced it was.
In the search of the greatest romance building the greatest Empire, they would find a story of rape and redemption instead.
(Now with sparse art from yours truly; really just how they look)

Summary
Nothing much changed - except that the Iron Warriors have inherited a geneflaw unlike the blightbringers or mutations of their cousins:
The Lovesick Blight.
And none could better be a showcase of the wide reaching complications this flaw brought to their very ethos than the Lord of Iron himself.
Here's the core story for this AU.

Summary
Hear of the life and times of Arno Invictus. From lowly beginnings in the streets to his rise as a chosen leader of his people, the course of his life was inexorably altered upon meeting the fearsome Lady of Iron: Perturaba.
Hear of their story- from their first tense meeting, to the formation of a beneficial partnership that evolves into something much more.Even the coldest heart can be warmed by compassion. Even if it’s a heart shielded by iron.
Love is ironclad.Disclaimer: This work contains mentions of a man who was coerced into prostitution, starting at the age of fourteen years old and ending when he turned nineteen years old. Arno (the protagonist)'s initial profession came about through circumstances outside of his control. While the work does not condone such actions as mentioned, we understand if that makes you uncomfortable and unwilling to read the story.

Summary
He’d expected the lord of the fortress to be different. Bigger; a giant in thousand year-old terminator plate, covered in spikes and unholy symbols and tanned flesh, his face and body distorted by Chaos’ unclean touch.
Instead, the master of Khalan-Ghol seems almost laughably normal. His eyes are a striking blue, and there’s a rosy, cherubic handsomeness to his features. Were he not a despicable servant of the archenemy, Honsou might even have called him pretty.

Bookmarker's Notes
Perfect hurt/comfort fic, in a way. Keep rereading when I have a particularly bad day.
