They made a bet. It was simple. Well- it sounded simple. First to call a fan "sweet" looses and the other 2 had to choose a punishment of sort. Didn't have to be a punishment really. It could be something making them do something out of their comfort zone. Not too extreme so they couldn't say no.
Like if Rumi lost they planned to take her to the beach and wear ACTUAL beach wear instead of hoodies and sweaters. If Zoey lost she had to be vegetarian for a week since Zoey hated eating her vegetables. Mira…Mira was a different story…

She didn’t move toward them until Zoey turned and held out a hand.
Mira didn’t take it — not really. She just stepped close enough for Zoey to pull her in, arms looping around her waist. Rumi’s arms came next, forming a circle Mira wasn’t sure she deserved to be inside of.
“I’m sorry too,” Mira said, voice flat. Too calm. “For what I did.”
Zoey squeezed her once. Rumi nodded.The words were accepted. The apology, acknowledged.
But forgiveness doesn’t erase guilt. And Mira’s guilt didn’t let go.
