"Wrong. I just like your tattoos," Megumi corrects with finality, and he'd be damn proud of himself for keeping his cool in such a bullshit predicament if he weren't painfully aware of his cheeks burning hotter than the flames of hell.
Sukuna spends all of three seconds looking like his brain temporarily blinked out of existence, before graciously slipping back his holier-than-thou expression.
"Is that so," the curse murmurs with a grin. "It's a pity, but we're out of time. How about I leave you with a parting gift?"

Megumi took in those threats one by one, saving the worst - the best - for last. Of course Ryomen Sukuna was staring right at him, his keen gaze slicing through a calculated alignment of the fabric dividers, catching Megumi in the act while doing the same himself.
Those dark brown eyes should not behold Megumi so directly, not while they were insolent and filled with arrogance, assuming more than Megumi had ever given him reason to. Megumi himself wasn’t paying attention to the meeting, but the fact that an independent sorcerer took it all so lightly irked him to no end.
Ryomen Sukuna’s lips quirked into a slow smile and he tipped his head just a fraction Megumi’s way, a private challenge in a space where so many others might be looking. In that instant, Megumi wanted to punch him in the face just as badly as he wanted to grab him by the hair and dig his teeth into that full bottom lip. He would stain those ridiculous monk’s white robes with specks of Sukuna’s own blood.

Unable to keep the blush from rising on his face, Megumi pouts and glances away from Sukuna’s gaze. “…Yeah.”
Sukuna doesn’t look disturbed or disgusted. He looks… thoughtful.
“You found an alpha yet?” he asks.
It’s hard for Megumi to resist rolling his eyes. “Obviously not. I don’t exactly have a line of alphas outside my door eager to bitch me. Besides… I don’t just… trust anyone with something like that.”
Sukuna hums again, fingers drumming against the armrest. His gaze is unreadable and assessing. “Yeah, I figured as much.”
Megumi crosses his arms, shifting uncomfortably under Sukuna’s scrutiny. “What’s with the interrogation? What does it matter to you?”
Sukuna doesn’t answer right away. Instead, he leans back, tilting his head as if debating something. Then, he smirks, completely disarming Megumi as he flashes him those sharp canines. Perfect for claiming. “I could do it.”
