Summary
Jimmy is called to help the drama club after a rehearsal of Romeo and Juliet goes horribly wrong. Tom thinks there’s someone trying to sabotage the play, but no one believes him, so now it’s Jimmy’s job to find the cause of all these 'accidents’. From scripts being tampered with, to Juliet going missing, Jimmy, along with Melvin and Tom, have to track down the culprit before opening night begins.

Hal x Mandy - actually genius to put these two together I can't believe I didn't think of it before. Hal accidentally helping Mandy start to rethink her eating disorder is such a genius plot.
Ted x Earnest - Ted being so genuinely stupid that he thinks the nerds are being nice to him is so fucking funny. Everytime I would think "there's no way Ted is going to think this was a nice gesture" he managed to and I ended up full on cackling. -

Melvin ending up as Juri's English tutor is such a genius idea as it fits so well with their established lore.
My Favourite Moments:
- Ted threatening to punch Melvin as he walks past with the 'too easy' is such a perfect little bit to show really quickly who his character is/what he acts like
- Juri substituting longer words that he struggles at with simpler alternatives (is Melvin going to eventually help him with this?)
- Juri struggling with comprehension rather than just 'being bad' at English is a really nice touch to remind people that he isn't stupid/a dumb jock and instead struggles because it's not his native language and he's had to learn an entirely separate one AND with Melvin recognizing that straight away is such cinema (i kind of want to see if Melvin will eventually take up learning Russian and finding out just how much work Juri actually puts in to speaking in his day-to-day life)Read up to chapter 3.
Need to make some fanart because holy moly this story has not left my brain since I read it. -

God this is really good! Troy's anguish of him slowly loosing himself to his own thoughts despite him trying to deny and fight against it because he can't quite grasp the concept of him being into dudes, Russel's dialogue feeling so on point and in character, and even Wade's way of showing his anger is just all chef's kiss.
