Summary
This is a snippet from a (potentially fully written) Vampire x Vampire Hunter Alternate Universe story created and illustrated by Lilicat, which is being further developed and written by me.
Sam and Raiden are travelling through Europe to hunt down Avrămescu (Vamp), a vampire who brutally murdered Sam's family when he was 17. Sam knows very little about his companion aside from the fact that he's a vampire, not even his actual name because Raiden refuses to tell him anything about himself. Although he hates working together with a creature of the night, he has no other choice - Raiden is his only chance of getting revenge.

Summary
Raiden wakes up in the middle of the night, finding himself stranded somewhere in Auckland, New Zealand and a part of his memory is missing. As he returns to his family, he is promptly kicked out by Rose and is told to never come back again. Confused and hurt, he returns to Maverick in the US, as he has nowhere else to go.
To his surprise, he runs into his former enemy and now ally (?) Samuel Rodrigues - Jetstream Sam there and is told that Sam is basically replacing him at his old job.With a completely messed up memory, Raiden is trying to hide from everyone that his relationship with Rose is over and that he is all by himself now with no support, trying to eradicate the rest of Desperado and similar PMCs who cause terror all across the globe. He is annoyed but also confused as to why of all people, Sam is trying to stay by his side and help him.
Sam figures out that something is seriously wrong with Raiden and tries to make him aware of what's going on, but Raiden doesn't want to hear it.
Not until Sam becomes an important part of his life and it becomes unthinkable of them ever being separate again, despite all of Raiden's issues that make their relationship rather difficult.Series

Raiden just can't stop thinking about Sam. Whenever he closes his eyes he sees that smug smile, hears his cool Brazilian voice and all he wants to do is finally to defeat him, making him seek out his enemy in a motel.
What Raiden doesn't know is that this causes a deeper feeling to spark between the two men of vastly different backgrounds.
Can they find love in a world full of war?

Summary
Raiden is on a mission in the British Overseas Territory Gibraltar trying to take down another business abusing human rights and trying to sell off body parts of helpless refugees, when the electrical field of an UG teleports him into the future.
When he learns that suddenly 94 years have passed, he panics — what would have possibly happened to his wife and son and the people he cared about when he’s suddenly gone from their world? What about his mission to save the innocent?
He then gets found by a group of fighters similar to him. An odd bunch, but they seem to not be judging him at all, which is a first time experience for him.
They tell him about a war that is happening in their world and they might be able to help him get back to his world, if he will be a helping hand in their own war.
Of course he agrees. But quickly he finds himself drawn into a big mess, in a war he should’ve never been a part of.Thanks to Jack_Dusk for the beta. :)

Overwatch's hands are tied; the organisation being too small and still on illegal terms with the world, he has to find someone else to rescue his master.
And who else could be of better help than Sombra, Talon's notorious hacker?
Genji makes a pact with the devil - and he learns that nothing in this world is like it seems to be. Who can you really trust other than yourself?
He learns that Sombra is not loyal to Talon, that Gabriel Reyes is still alive. Who is Jesse McCree really?
Questions that he will find answers to, sooner or later.

Raiden gets very, very drunk, more than usual in the aftermath of Rose’s miscarriage. He sees a familiar face as he stumbles home - but he knows it's his mind mixing his fantasies and reality again. But as long as his brain can trick him into thinking the stranger before him looked and sounded like Solid Snake, that was good enough.
