Summary
Severus takes great pleasure in his job as a Potions Master.
After four years in America to gain his mastery, and seven years since the war ended, Severus is back in England. He’s gained what is essentially the job of his dreams. He gets along well enough with the few coworkers he’s required to interact with. He’s allowed to be as domineeringly creative as he wants, concocting intensive brews, refining new formulations, and hybridizing techniques that are magic with muggle. He’s well paid, well respected, and answers to almost no one.
There’s only one thing he hates about the apothecary business he works for.
It’s owned by James Potter.

Summary
She tucked the letter carefully into her coat, hands trembling slightly. She could see the edge of the woods now, and the crooked chimney of Whipps Cross rising just above the trees, silvered in the faintest blue of night.
Eloise held her breath. Cressida Cowper was somewhere inside that house.
And Eloise was about to change both their lives.
The carriage pulled to a stop.Or, the one where Eloise climbs through a window with a makeshift rope and a terrible love letter, hoping she’s not too late as she steals away the bride on her wedding day.

Summary
"A great honor," they called it. To be given the chance to win victory for the Empire as one of the seven knights chosen to battle in this sun-forsaken ring.
It would have been more honest to call it a death sentence.
