Summary
Yoshi is an artist and curator at South Korea's National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (MMCA), living off the museum's snack bar nuts and coffee, obsessively studying his colleagues works. He's a bit envious of the creativity around him. His art didn't start from a passion of painting but an outlet for his overthinking and a sporadic mind.
With no family and no one turn to, he paints his emotions and he hates his own art. One of his mentors in the museum sees he's struggling and asks him to help with setting up an art installation The Pianist'. A hyper realistic mannequin that looked like a young man styled dashingly- with a tailored black sequin tuxedo sitting at a piano exploding with color and props, his expression serene.
Everyday Yoshi is alone with the installation, the more he falls in love with it. One day, he hears soft piano playing and when he goes to see, the music has stopped but the mannequin is frozen... glancing up from the piano at him, still, curious, soft eyes looking back at him. Has Yoshi lost it completely or is the mannequin he named 'Junkyu' actually alive?- Language:
