Sitting above the calendar for March is none other than Skizz. He’s shirtless, with only one suspender strap slung over his shoulder causing his pants to dip low on his left side. He’s got an axe slung over his shoulder like he’s the toughest man in the world. It makes Impulse feel weak in the knees just looking at him. Impulse unconsciously traces the finger along Skizz’s abs, which are shiny with sweat. God he’s never seen Skizz like this before, and despite the sexy nature of his pose and outfit, his facial expression and the look in his eyes is so undeniably Skizz that Impulse can’t help but laugh to himself. Even when trying to be sexy, Skizz can’t help but be his goofy self and Impulse loves him for it.

It was probably not a smart thing to backtalk a faerie king– one who could very well be one of the Archfey, especially powerful overlords of the Feywild. But Martyn wasn’t thinking correctly. For one, he was exhausted after getting shoved through a gate to the Feywild, chased through the woods, and arrested by faeries for no good reason, so his judgment wasn’t quite in check.
Mercifully, the king—Ren, wasn’t that his name?—didn’t look angry. He raised a brow and his lips twitched into a smile. He just looked curious.

Summary
Impulse isn't sure if he can handle working as a barista but at least he gets to work with his bestie Tango. The only problem is that he is a massive shipper thanks to his sister Gem ruining him on BL/yaoi manga.
He notices how excited Tango gets to see one of the regulars each day. The regular, Jimmy was an office intern and was often sent on coffee runs. Impulse could work with that, whether Tango wanted him to or not.
Meanwhile Skizz’s love life is cursed. Every relationship he has ever had ended with him as the short end of a love triangle. He totally wasn’t bitter about it either. He was just going to focus on his career and not dating.
Only the new barista at his favorite cafe is just so cute and fun to talk to. He definitely didn’t start going there twice a day just to see him. Who told you that? Impulse just made the coffee really good.
Then he hears Jimmy, talking about the cutest barista at the cafe and how he thinks the barista might have a thing for him too. Skizz realizes he’s in another love triangle because objectively Impulse is the cutest. Jimmy couldn’t be talking about anyone else.

As if he recognised Impulse’s apprehension, Skizz reduced his wide grin to a friendly smile. “I saw you when I walked in and thought all your piercings were super sick. And I didn’t know anyone, so I figured I may as well talk to someone new,” His wings shuddered slightly. “I hope that’s okay with you?”
Impulse was shocked at how friendly Skizz was. In the three years he had been at this high school and the many years of knowing some of the other students from grade school, no one had ever paid this much attention to him. “Oh, that’s nice of you to say, and yeah sure it’s fine,” he responded, hoping his pause wasn’t too noticeable.
“Okay, that’s great! See you around, homie!” Skizz chirped before picking up his bag and walking out of class, leaving Impulse there to contemplate what just happened to him.

Summary
When Impulse receives a funky radio as a birthday present from his best friends and roommates Gem and Pearl, he doesn't expect to find himself enamoured by the charming host of a small radio station. As a small crush develops even further, he finds himself conflicted as to how he can love someone who is basically a stranger.
Meanwhile, Skizz is desperate for this radio gig to start earning so he can quit his soul-sucking job and spend his days doing what he loves - making people laugh. It's quite a way off, the number zero next to the listener count is quite a sore subject for him but when that number ticks up to one he finds a sense of hope that he hasn't felt for a long time.
