Summary
After Rumi's mother died, Celine took over her sweet coffee shop in Seoul. Rumi works there as a barista. Everyday two sweet girls buy their coffee there, Mira and Zoey. Mira and Zoey are a couple that befriend the shy and awkward barista. With time the friendship turns to more before everything in Rumi's life takes a tragic turn.
In this fanfic Rumi isn't a half demon, her patterns are old sh scars instead and Celine doesn't know about it... yet.

Rumi winces, looking up at Mira and trying to glare but ultimately failing. “You didn’t have to wait for me.”
“And leave you to deal with how broken Celine makes you feel after every private conversation you have with her?” Mira asks, her sneer not directed at Rumi but at the door behind her. “Over my dead body, Rumi.”
Rumi feels her face heat up. She flexes her fingers at her sides, just to have something to do with her hands so she doesn’t give into the urge to grab Mira’s face and pull her into a desperate kiss.
“You didn’t have to do that,” Rumi repeats, softer this time.
“I wanted to,” Mira says, matching Rumi’s softer tone.

Summary
Rumi Ryu, fresh out of an emotionally and physically abusive relationship, is finally ready to move out of her aunt’s house and into her own space. She settles on a small apartment building in a quiet part of Seoul, where she can see herself flourishing, hopefully.
Mira Kang and Zoey Cho have lived in the building for ages now and haven't had a neighbor in months. Probably because the rent price was outrageous, but they’re able to afford it together. When a mysterious, quiet and heavily guarded purple-haired stranger moves in next door, Zoey immediately begins “operation befriend the neighbor”. Mira is just along for the ride.Or: shy, quiet Rumi moves into the apartment next to Mira and Zoey. Love and chaos (good and bad) ensue.

Summary
The woman’s eyes widened, and her hand reached out, not quite touching Rumi, but close. “Not that you’re not beautiful, because wow, you-” She stopped, a look of realisation crossed her face “-I mean, no, wait, no, you are beautiful, but I wasn’t hitting on you, I have a girlfriend-”
Rumi ignored her chest squeezing.
“-A stunning girlfriend, Mira. I mentioned her, right? My girlfriend Mira-” The woman stopped abruptly and lowered her head down into her arms. “Jeez, Zoey, stop rambling at the deaf woman.” It was muffled, but Rumi heard it.
Silenced by grief, Rumi’s world is transformed when she crosses paths with Mira and Zoey, who guide her toward a voice she thought was lost forever.
