There had been tension before, but in the absence of a contract and an implicit reason to be together, the knowledge that Wolfwood had searched for two and a half years and tracked Vash down of his own volition, and the knowledge that Vash had dreamed of Wolfwood during their years apart, even when the trauma from the July incident was so powerful that it washed out Vash’s memories of almost everything else…
Tension is putting it lightly. They’ve been closer. They’ve been—fucking feels far too crude of a word for it, even in Wolfwood’s own head. What he feels for Vash is too powerful to be written off as… attraction. Desire. Though both of those are certainly present as well. They haven’t actually put a real word to it—saying that they’re dating skews a little juvenile after everything they’ve been through, though, Wolfwood supposes, not in the worst way imaginable—but they’re close. Closer than two people who just mutually want to jump each others’ bones.
Wolfwood does want to jump Vash’s bones, though. Actually, he kind of wants Vash to get angry at him.

Jaskier has a new beard - and Geralt hates it. To prove how bad the beard is, he proposes a wager: if Jaskier can’t get a kiss by midnight, he has to shave it off. But the bard’s untrustworthy at the best of times, so Geralt adds a stipulation: if Jaskier does lose, Geralt is the one who gets to shave him.
