“So,” his mother nudges the plate towards him and Even willingly grabs one of the fragrant pastries, “how was it?”
“It was…” Even sees the hopeful look in her eyes then remembers the words of his therapist about honesty. “It was really fucking hard.” He sees her wince slightly at the expletive but she chooses to let it pass.

Even is the reluctant heir to Bech Pharmaceuticals. Unable to escape familial obligation any longer he is expected to take part in the annual student summer internship scheme. His parents’ one concession to him is that he is allowed to hide his identity and link to the company.
Isak has hopes and dreams but the pragmatist in him knows that a secure future comes from following the money into industry. The highly regarded Bech internship is a golden mark on any CV and so he commits himself to a summer of exhaustion and working himself into the ground.
Via exposed secrets, revealed identities, late night talks and a growing friendship the pair give each other the strength, confidence and support to break free of expectations and start living the lives they actually want.

Here it is, the Heartstopper x Sweater Weather crossover nobody but me clamored for! You do not need to read SW to read this fic. However, if you HAVEN'T read lumosinlove’s Sweater Weather (and Coast to Coast, and, well, everything), you absolutely should, because it is a remarkable piece of writing (as well as its own standalone AU).
There will be parallels and divergences from both Heartstopper and Sweater Weather in this story.
Do I know a ton about rugby? Nope! Do I live in England? I sure don't. Will I get a lot of things just wrong enough to be annoying? Definitely! Will there be science facts at the end of each chapter? I can’t help it. Enjoy the ride.
