“I already told you, I don’t have hypothermia,” Lance says. “I’m okay. I’m just really, really cold.”
Keith raises an eyebrow. “What do you think hypothermia is?”
“Oh, don’t get all technical. I—”
His body betrays him by breaking out into another fit of shivers, so violent they leave him dizzy, his vision dark at the edges.
It knocks most of the fight out of him, and he sits there for a moment, feeling miserable and pathetic.
“Look,” Keith says, his voice low and infuriatingly kind, “you can drop the act. I know you. I can tell when you’re not okay.”
Lance stares at him, feeling exposed and cut to the bone.
“I could get better on my own,” he says.
“You won’t,” Keith tells him bluntly. “Not unless you let me help you.”

After multiple unsuccessful attempts to get him to be interested in anyone, Shikamaru thinks the strategy is a failure. The fact that Sakura sticks around after is not related.

Keith’s eyebrows knit together, head swiveling as he looks around. He doesn’t see anyone, but Shiro nods to his left and Keith follows his gaze, finally spotting a man making their way toward them through the crowd, eyes locked on Keith. His breath hitches as he drinks him in, tall, tanned beautifully from the sun, dark hair styled messily. “Oh hell.” He mumbles, but the words are lost to the music.
