Kirishima carelessly replies, “why would he ask you out?” because everyone knows Bakugou is his even if it’s not official just yet.
That isn’t as obvious to Bakugou and as far as he’s concerned, Kirishima just confirmed not only does he not want him but he can't imagine why anyone would.
