Summary
Seifer returns to Balamb Garden as a gunblade instructor, two years after his pardon for his involvement in the Second Sorceress War, and finds his place somewhere he least expects it.
Poly!Fic, this is a polyamorous V with Squall as the point, so: Squall/Seifer, Squall/Rinoa (though there is one time the lines get a little blurry). Post-canon and totally self-indulgent, because I wanted a poly fic for these three so bad.

Summary
The guards un-cuffed Seifer and handed him a black bag before pushing him toward the car. He seemed unsteady on his feet as he flexed his hands a moment. When he finally looked up at me, Seifer seemed to freeze in place. The expression on his face was still blank, so I kept on smiling at him in an attempt to be welcoming. He didn’t move at first, just kept on staring. His eyes were still a very vivid light green and the scar that mirrored Squalls was still prominent. Just as I was about to call him over to me, Seifer began walking slowly toward me. It was making me a bit uncomfortable how he just kept staring at me.
Deciding to break the ice, I giggled and drawled out, “Need a ride, handsome?”
Seifer stopped a couple of paces away from me, his expression confused. He covered his mouth to cough and said in a voice that seemed underused, “Yeah... I sure as hell could.”

Summary
Following Ultimecia's defeat, the world is left in shambles. While he'd like to step down and simply take orders, Squall--or Commander Leonhart--knows he has a responsibility to remain and do all he can to put things back together. Rinoa, meanwhile, has to deal with her newfound abilities and the side-effects they're causing despite her efforts to control her power. And were that not stress enough, President Loire has some news of his own that he has to break, which might be just enough to push Squall over the edge.
