    Summary

There are some great quick-and-dirty guides to HTML on A03. This is not one of them - it is a comprehensive guide

It's now 2025, a decade later. A03 supports some new HTML and and we're all walking around reading fic on supercomputers that fit in a jean pocket. It was time update this and take a crack at finishing it. (Links and Images are in, the new Audio and Video tags are not.)

The previous three chapters have been divided into smaller concepts. Each tag continues to have - at a minimum - a link to the w3schools page about it (so you can learn more), a code example, and the result of the code example. Most tags have their attributes, things like [src] or [title], listed and examples of how using the attributes modify the tags.

There's a chapter on Bad Ideas, including how some of the archive's default CSS is available to you to format your work (users can't turn that off by hiding a workskin!)

Oh. And I added a bunny army. You could learn how to add one too.

I turned to Lockwood. “You trust me, right?”
He looked at me as if I’d asked him to confirm that there was water in the ocean, that Visitors came out at night, or that George’s morning yoga sessions were unfit for human eyes to behold. “More than anyone. What’s—”
“Then do me a favour and play along.”

How hard can stealing one secret political document from a rival agency be? Lucy and Lockwood are about to find out.

“Truth is, we’ve been so busy it’s all been sort of a blur. Since Fittes House, I mean. Cases, ghosts, places, people… It all blends together.” He looked at me. “Of course, some other things have got clearer.”

It's been two months since the final battle, and Lucy is starting to get impatient.

    Summary

I’d made the wrong call, and it was my fault. In that moment, I’d felt fourteen years old again, messing up like an amateur. So I was spending the morning in my room, attempting to relax. What I needed now was another shower (or five), something to eat, and not looking Lockwood in the eye for the next, say, hundred years.
A knock on my door. “Luce? Are you in there?"
    So much for that.

A stupid case leads to a conversation.

    Summary

Lockwood is trying to avoid thinking about a difficult anniversary while Lucy is trying to deal with some news from home. They're both preoccupied and trying to suss out what's going on with the other as they head into a tricky case. Things go badly wrong, but they get to have some snuggles in the aftermath :)
Also, Lockwood picks some roses with the intention of giving them to Lucy.

"After that he must have fallen asleep for a bit because when he opened his eyes next, Lucy was leaning over him. His mind still felt foggy and slow, so for a long moment he just assumed he was dreaming, and he let himself stare baldly up at her. The early morning sunlight that brightened the room filtered in through the leaves of the apple tree outside his window, and he watched in fascination as the dappled light flickered over the curve of her cheek and caught in her eyelashes and a few little wisps of curls that had fallen out of place. For a few seconds there was a rare softness in her expression, her lips slightly parted and a little worried line between her eyebrows. Then her gaze met his, and reality came crashing back in. Her eyes widened, and it dawned on him he wasn’t actually dreaming. "
