Simon found himself in… a bit of a predicament.
You see, he had been welded inside of this rusty, old, and crappy submarine that wasn’t built for the depth he was forced to be at. Literally, it has been depressurizing for the past… However long he was down there.
They didn’t give him a clock, how would he know?!
They called the submarine the “Iron Lung”.
How lovely of a name. Definitely reassuring.

Ryland Grace woke up in the middle of the night to wander through his dark home like he’d done a million times over. Only this time, he tripped over something. The first spark of confusion quickly looked over in his half-asleep state.
Okay, so he was so out of it that his autopilot wasn’t working. Or he’d forgotten to carry his shoes to the actual rack at the end of a long day. Whatever.
Then, his lower body rammed into a piece of furniture, and that was his wake-up call. Because Ryland Grace most certainly did not have a coffee table here… He tried to give his eyes time to adjust, but his setting was a mixture of too dark and too- unfamiliar. His stomach dropped.or
Ryland Grace wakes up in an alternate reality where he was never sent on the Hail Mary and instead found himself a domestic life with a man he doesn't recognize. He's faced with the decision of taking over a life that isn't truly his or returning to his own reality.
