I’m afraid I’m rather susceptible to the kind of emotional distress that the flowers thrive in. There is so much love to be had in the galaxy, and I can’t help but… even when it hurts. Perhaps especially when it hurts. I let it get ahold and it’s chronic at this point. Even if I never loved again, I will always have… this.” He spread a hand over his own chest and already, he could feel the stuttering slip of petals and leaves threatening. He kept his breathing slow and shallow, and the threat passed—for now.
OR: a peek into a galaxy where Obi-Wan suffers from chronic Hanahaki, a condition where flowers grow in his lungs, and despite his best efforts, he waters them every day.

Summary
The General pops out of the tent, scowling, and hurls a blanket- which Cody recognizes as one from the man's nest- sending a cloud of dust into the air when it lands. Skywalker winces, rubbing the back of his neck.
Cody decides, abruptly, that he is too tired for this and will be spending the night in the medical tent.
He is not quiet enough, obviously, because the General calls out, “Ah, Commander, you’re back! Apologies for all this,” he pauses to send another glare at his former Padawan, “I’ll be finished ridding the tent of foreign stench in a second, and the space will be all yours.”
It is then that Cody realizes his entire life is a fucking joke.
(or, Cody has never given much thought to things such as nesting and courting. This is, as it turns out, a mistake.)

Summary

Now, he and Vos must work together to win the tournament and keep Kenobi out of the hands of those that seek to hurt him.
