It’s stupid and he understands that—and he very much understands that his friends think it's stupid but it's his routine. He wakes up, goes for his morning run, drinks his coffee while he showers (he has a very busy schedule) and then sits down and has his toast with the very specific cherry jam his mom orders from a specific gift shop in Akita Prefecture.
Everyone in the damn dorms knows it’s his cherry jam and its off-limits.
So when he came down from his shower this morning to find his jar of cherry jam with a slightly pinker, slightly more congealed, very much not his cherry jam haphazardly stuffed into the jar that should be filled with a few days worth more of his jam…as if he could be tricked…of course he can’t just calm down!

"Katsuki." Her voice had a hard edge to it now. She wasn't crying anymore but her eyes seemed almost hard in a way that was so real and not as 'playful' as her everyday look. It was like she was thinking hard for a moment. And her heart clenched at the thought but she just had to say it. She could almost feel it.
"What did you do?" The line was accusatory but also almost soft in a way like she didn't even want to hear the answer. And just hearing it made Katsuki want to vomit. She was standing beside him hand clenched over her chest and eyes burrowing holes into his head. He still couldn't look at her.
"I-" the letter came out with a rough choking sound. Eyes squeezing out tears as he clenched his teeth. His face was absolutely dismal. It was over. It didn't matter now. He couldn't hide anything.

Summary
Katsuki Bakugo had plenty of reasons why he wasn't mated yet, not that he was going to explain why to just anyone. But now, Ground Zero was running out of time. If he didn't find someone soon, he'd lose his position as a Pro-Hero and he'd never get to be #1. So, when he finds out there's a male Omega recently arrested for prostitution that's headed to prison if he too doesn't get a mate…well it must be fate.
Izuku Midoriya doesn't know if he should laugh or cry when his childhood bully shows up in front of his jail cell asking him to be his mate. He also didn't know if it was good or bad that Kacchan didn't seem to recognize him, but fate hasn't been kind to him before so why should it start now?
