And yet, Caitlyn found herself suppressing a smile, drawn into this strange late-night conversation as if it were perfectly normal, as if she regularly had tea with women who carried themselves without a care in the world.
The realisation struck suddenly, accompanied by a chill of social vertigo. To Vi, it seemed that Caitlyn was just… a person. An everyday person. The novelty of it was intoxicating and terrifying in equal measure.

Summary
“Don’t fucking move,” a harsh voice said through gritted teeth.
Cait turned her head, finding herself staring into the point of an arrow. Shit, she thought to herself. Instantly going into fight or flight mode, she stood up, taking a step back.
“I said don’t fucking move!” the voice shouted down the crossbow.
A woman stood behind the crossbow, shorter than her, but still tall. She had pink hair, though unable to tell the shade, shaved down on one side, long on the other. Muscles defined in her tight trousers and shirt, but arms hidden by a crimson jacket. Unfortunately, she couldn’t quite work out many more details in the moonlight, nor in her panic. She thrusted the crossbow in her face again.
“What’s your name?” she asked, head tilted to the side slightly as she looked down the length of the crossbow.
Fear took over her. That’s when Caitlyn Kiramman remembered she was a vampire. And didn’t owe this woman anything.

Summary
The Kiramman family, Piltover's pride and joy, aren't just accomplished politicians and merchants. They are among Runeterra's vanguard; hunters of creatures that go bump in the dark. Each generation of Kiramman swears themselves to the defense of their kingdom's population, and Caitlyn Kiramman is no different.
Caitlyn is still young and relatively inexperienced, born in an age where monsters are less frequent than in ages past. That doesn't mean they are wholly eradicated, however, as one gruesome evening is quick to remind her.
Vi labors tirelessly to provide for herself and her sister, Powder. It's not easy, and most days she wants to call it quits, yet she perseveres. As difficult as her life might be, however, it's luxurious compared to what awaits her. She never thought she'd miss the late hours and backbreaking labor. Not until her entire world was turned upside down one fateful evening.

Summary
Caitlyn Kiramman is the heir to one of the largest cattle operations in the country, but she has not stepped foot on her family's ranch in nearly two decades. She helps run the company from afar, and is deeply unpopular with the staff due to her controversial ideas that disrupt the status quo. Violet Mason is the head ranch hand at Rocking Bar Ranch, where she has spent years breaking horses, working cattle, and bending to the Kiramman's every decision - no matter how stupid she thinks they are. After a disastrous stakeholder meeting, Caitlyn is effectively fired from her position and her mother assigns her to work on the farm to maintain the company's image. Vi is charged with overseeing Caitlyn, and tasked with turning her into a regular cowpoke. Unfortunately, tension builds as the pair's disdain for one another becomes more apparent.
Something besides their animosity is brewing on the ranch, though. And if they aren't able to put aside their differences to work together and figure out what it is, Rocking Bar Ranch could cease to exist as they know it.
Or, Vi is a cowboy and Caitlyn is a clueless city slicker.

Summary
Vi has only been out of prison for a few weeks, and she's spent pretty much all of it working diligently on the family Christmas tree farm. It's nothing special, but it's home. It's a job. It keeps her close to the people she loves. Everything's about perspective, when it comes right down to it.
Caitlyn knows absolutely nothing about Christmas trees. The staff at her parents' estate typically took care of everything without needing her to lift a finger, but she's living on her own now. She has her own little place in a town where pretty much everyone hates her, and is it really so wrong to hope putting up her own Christmas tree might give her just a little something to feel happy about?
They couldn't seem to be more different. And yet, when they meet, they affect each other in the same undeniably irresistible way. Can the joy of the holiday season overcome the pain of the past to bring them both a gift worth remembering this Christmas?
