Tilting his head in confusion Dazai looked up to his guardian. "Who is this?"
Mori smiled shallowly and ruffled through brown locks. "He'll be the one you can feed on."
"I can feed on...?"
"Yeah, like a living blood ba-"
An exited shine could be found in Dazai’s eyes as he exclaimed "Like a blood friend!" Sitting down right next to the boy Dazai looked at him.
"What's your name friend?"
"F-friend...?"
"Yeah, my friend."
"My... name is Nakahara Chūya..."

Summary
For the record, Dazai should not be responsible for anyone’s mental state considering his own personal history, but Chuuya’s going through a rough time. Old habits die hard, and taking care of one another sits as the very foundation of double-black.
Besides the hair braiding, helping Chuuya with his breakdown involves getting a lot more wet than Dazai anticipated. It’s not a particularly thrilling development.

Everyone thinks that their partnership is a series of Dazai being a troublemaker while Chuuya is helplessly dragged along for the ride. That couldn’t be farther from the truth. Some days it feels like Dazai is the only one aware of how insane Chuuya actually is.

Summary
Seeing the curled up fox in Fukuzawa's arms has Dazai's heart clenching painfully, and he knows that he has to protect him. Chuuya's family might have been slaughtered, but Dazai promises that no harm will come to the only surviving member of the fox clan. Of course, it also helps that Chuuya has the prettiest set of tails that Dazai has ever seen.

“I’m sure you’d love that. Is this something from one of your fantasies?” Chuuya scoffs.
“Well, I can’t say there haven’t been a few that have started out this way,” Dazai murmurs, and Chuuya’s breathing stutters. He goes tense under their hands, and he cuts his gaze away, and Dazai is certain that under all that makeup an embarrassed flush is climbing up his face.
Dazai can’t help but laugh.
or, why put only one of them in a dress when they can both be? the one where dazai and chuuya both go undercover for a mission, and it really does all work out.
