Summary
Silver the Hedgehog has been fighting against the apocalypse for seven long years. Finally, he and the remaining mortals initiate Operation Argus to save as many lives as possible. Silver is the only one left behind to destroy everything that remains. But his success is short-lived when the darkness of the east—Mephiles—forces Silver to turn back time.
Back at eight years old before the apocalypse began, Silver endeavors to stop it from ever occurring in the first place. His first step is to kill Emperor Shadow of the Doom Empire, the one who unleashed Mephiles in the first place. Unfortunately, Silver isn't strong enough to kill Shadow, and he, in turn, can't kill Silver because he's... Shadow's blood?
It wasn't in Silver's plans to become an imperial prince, but he decides that he can use this. He'll stop the apocalypse, no matter what it takes.

Summary
Ever since Sonic's fall from space thwarting another one of Eggman's schemes, sleep has been hard to come by. Constantly plagued by night terrors and bad memories, the hedgehog finds himself trying to heal, physically and mentally, from the ordeal. However, as the days and nights drag on and he loses more and more sleep, the boundaries between reality and fiction begin to blur. And among all of these confusing factors, there's one constant: Shadow the Hedgehog.
This story is tagged as mature for some scenes of graphic violence (few and far between), and inclusion of potentially triggering content (PTSD, lingering trauma, and the effects of sleep deprivation).
