Jerking her up again she reached out and grabbed a fistfull of cloth from his shirt, she lulled in his arms blood starting to stain her yellow hair. He watched her starting to come out of his rage filled fit, she licked her lips and started to speak but he couldn't hear her. Leaning down to try and make out her words he caught her scent in his nose. It was intoxicating, he pulled her up into him burying his face in the back of her neck, he groaned wrapping his arms around her and digging his fingertips into her back.
“Bellamy….” She muttered

But his sister has a way of persuading him to pretend to date Clarke, just until Homecoming, so they can humiliate her and ruin her chances of claiming the crown. His popularity, charm, smarts and overall good looks should make this an easy plan, but Bellamy fears his relationship with Clarke may become a little too real for the both of them.

Maybe it was the loads of biology and chemistry homework she was behind, not being helped by the dark cloudy days that had taken over the city of Arkadia, making her long to curl up in a cozy sweatshirt, bury her head under her duvet. Clarke didn’t think she was ugly, not necessarily. She knew she was a bit on the thicker side, but always prided in how well she could fill out jeans, turn heads in cropped tops. Maybe it was the fact that her father's death was always fresh on her mind. A deep pit in her stomach that she was never fully able to reconcile, her mourning period brief, rushed onto the next task of her life before the tears had even had time to dry.
