Summary
A modern retelling of the classic ACD story, with a twist. Set in the same ‘verse as “Sherlock & the Illustrious Client”. Time: between “The Great Game” and “A Scandal in Belgravia.”

This story is really well thought out and I particularly liked the twists and turns whilst still nodding respectfully to ACD. Very creative and great voice.

Summary
It was such a simple question, one John had asked Sherlock countless times over the years. One he always ignored and rolled his eyes at. Snorted in amusement at.
But tonight, well, tonight Sherlock answered the seemingly simple question.
And the very much not simple answer almost ripped the heart straight out of John's ribcage.

Summary
"You never asked me to make him love you back. That's always one of the first things that someone asks me, you know. 'Make him fall in love.' 'Make her love me.' 'Make him return my feelings.' 'Make him want me.' Blah, blah, blah, on and on and on. But you didn't do that. Neither did he."
This is a story of seven wishes.
One wasted wish, five wishes that changed the world, and one wish that changed nothing at all.

A great rewrite of Series 3 with all the good bits twisted into a new (more cohesive) story! Heavy on emotion and angst with tons of great twists.

Summary
No one knows where Simulants come from and those who have asked have had better things to do than pursue the answer when faced with extermination. With war still a present concern and Jim Moriarty's involvement left uncertain outside of its threat, the crew of the Black Manta may have taken on much more than they presumed to.
And among the many mysteries left to face them in their voyage lies the answer to the question that has been posed since the very beginning: who killed Sherlock Holmes?

Great world building, futuristic fun read. I really liked the story and the premise was so intriguing! Can we imagine a world in which John murders Sherlock or is it beyond impossible? Such a great mystery and all set in a recognisable future complete with big brothers and consulting criminals treating the universe as pawns. Who is the bad guy and who is on the side of right? Read this story!

Really cute Djinn story. John finds a bottle in Afghanistan and guess who is inside? I wish this was much longer.

Summary
As if John and Sherlock don't have enough problems already (that whole Sherlock getting shot by Mary thing), now there's a cold case detective from Canada snooping around asking questions about Moriarty.
Kate took her time, wanting to give him time to get settled. When she returned, John had cleared away the tea and Sherlock was sitting in the leather chair wearing sweat pants and a faded white t-shirt under a blue silk bathrobe.
She didn’t know men still wore silk bathrobes.
Thinner than his pictures, paler too. All cheekbones and unruly dark hair. Blue eyes dulled by the pain meds. Needs to shave. Bare feet. Holds one arm against his chest. Like he’s literally trying to hold himself together. Is he aware that he’s doing that?

A wonderful story about a detective from Canada popping over and becoming embroiled in some of the canon with twists. Really a fun romp with Johnlock and a great female original character . Lots of pond crossing humour and Kate has skills and wit of her own with great backstory and a whole different approach to Sherlock. Great afternoon read. Lots of conflicts and angsts and sweets which keep the story moving at a fast pace with very clever turns.

London, 1536. England awaits with bated breath the fate of Queen Anne Boleyn but, as physician John Watson is about to learn, hers is not the only tragedy unfolding at the Tower.

Believable and tragic, that in the past Mycroft would be at court whilst his brother was sentenced as a heretic. John Watson is a physician who is there to offer what comforts he can to the condemned. Very good read.

Summary
It all begins with Molly telling John a story about how one of her friends finally got married to the man of her dreams- thanks to a magical love potion.
Of course that's all it is: a story.
It's not like such thing exists, afterall.
And if it did exist... it's not like John would like to try it on someone. Of course not. That would be silly.

John is devastated and he thinks he can't possibly be more stunned until Sherlock shares a deeper secret about his feelings for John. Bookmarker's Notes
This story is well thought out and beyond realistic in some ways. Each part adds to the complexity of Canon character and yet brings something new. Finally someone who genuinely has given the character of John a true analysis without the rose coloured glasses of hope. Some may find it sad, but I find it empowering and refreshingly delightful. The author returns our Sherlock to factory plus updates settings and removes the virus plaguing the system.

“Loving a sociopath never ends well. We should have realised sooner, I suppose,” Sebastian says, and it’s enough of a shock that Watson steps back, startled. He’s piecing it all together.
“You and-”
“Yes.”
Watson looks Sebastian over, really looks this time. And he recognizes. He sees the weariness, the grief.
Watson squares his shoulders. “If you want to talk it out, mate, then get a fucking therapist.”

A canon friendly extension that does not pick on the holes but does try to fill them. No 4 bashing but some rather believable extras that slowly morph into more. Somewhere between canon and johnlock without anger for either. Great voice and I loved how the issues were addressed.
