You peered at him through your lashes. He was defensive, and clearly more uncomfortable with the situation than he was letting on. Flippant and arrogant. That’s how your mother had described him to you, and those traits were certainly jumping out at you now, but you had never considered insecure before this interaction. No matter— your goals hadn’t changed, even if your partner was on the defensive.
You undid your hair, which had been pinned up tightly, and let it tumble down your shoulders. Gojo's pitch black glasses didn’t deter you from noticing his gaze follow your hair down your neck and past your shoulders.
