Summary
In my experience of being a human, I've realized that I am very perfectionistic. Whenever I try to devote myself to something (such as longer fanfics), I usually enter into a feedback loop: see previous work as subpar, lose motivation, write slower and worse.
When I started writing, I tried getting around the lack of motivation at times by starting new projects I had excitement for. However, the honeymoon of writing something new eventually wears off, and you lose motivation again. This is exactly what happened with Ultra Despair V3; I started that fic because my motivation for Long Live the Short-Lived was low at that time. Now, I have put that fic on hiatus for motivation reasons.
What I've come to realize is that I don't do well with large/long projects. As such, I'm now experimenting with starting shorter projects to help retain my motivation; in other words, writing one-shots and short stories.
This series will, as the title states, cover varying degrees of brutality. My current main fandom, Danganronpa, is inherently violent, so the fics here will probably stay on the more violent end of the spectrum. I hope you enjoy.
