“I care ‘bout ya too. Like a lot.” Mondo adds, emphasizing it with a squeeze.
“….Would it be selfish if I made a request?” The tightness of Kiyotaka’s tone made Mondo stiffen.
“Huh? Course not. Hit me.”
Luckily Mondo had explained far earlier in their relationship that saying “Hit me” didn’t actually mean to shove him, so he didn’t need to worry about Kiyotaka taking that literally.
