    The thing about Aang was that he was just like that. He was exactly the kind of person to say 'I love you' to just about anyone, whether that was a friend or a stranger or someone's pet iguana. Because it was easy for him. Because why wouldn't he.

    It's not like it was supposed to mean something, right? Obviously, it didn't.

    Zuko had been with Aang for two years now, and he still wasn’t sure what Aang liked him for. He hadn’t exactly been the best person initially and even though he was trying very hard to change, old habits died hard. But Aang has been keeping things from him lately, and Zuko finds it rather hard to believe that they were innocent secrets.

    Maybe this relationship has been too good to be true after all. Nothiing ever lasts, why did he think this would be different?
