“Uh, Leo, when was the last time you got a vaccination?” Will asked, eyebrows furrowed.
“Um. Like, a couple years ago,” Leo mumbled.
“A couple years ago, as in when you were eight years old?”
“I don’t think…well maybe,” Leo responded.
Will studied the papers for another few seconds before saying, “Okay, that's fine, we can get you up to date on them. We have all the necessary vaccines here.”
Leo froze. “What? No.or
When Leo cuts his leg in training, Jason makes him get it checked out in the infirmary, where Will realizes Leo hasn't had any vaccines since his Mom died. Leo does not like needles.

Summary
After multiple years, Will had mostly recovered from his week spent in the Upside Down, but some things still never went back to normal. For example: he couldn’t eat slimy food, he was always a little colder than everyone else, and he hated doctors.
Since the quarantine started, Will had been blissfully free of the checkups and tests that had plagued him for the last five years. Just about all of Hawkins’s doctors had left town or were recruited to research the Upside Down, leaving the few remaining only seeing patients with urgent issues.
However, today marked exactly six months since the quarantine began, and many doctors had been allowed to return to their normal jobs after months of failed research.Or

“It’s fine, you go ahead. I’ll be up in a sec,” Mike told Will. He didn’t know what Murray was going to ask him, but after hearing the story of Nancy and Jonathan, he assumed he wouldn’t want any witnesses.or
