Summary
Wei Ying had been gone for a long time. After Jiang Cheng kicked him out, he basically fell off the face of the planet. Almost three years to the date, a new singer known as Yiling Laozu makes his debut into the world of rock.
Seven years after Wei Ying's disappearance, Wen Ning gets a mysterious text from his long lost best friend, asking to meet up again at Yiling Laozu's concert. "I even have tickets! Bring whoever you want." Once Wen Ning had the tickets, Wei Ying realized he couldn't do it, he couldn't face his friends after so long, if they even were still his friends.
This was originally based on a Hannah Montana AU prompt but at the same time it's hard to write this without angst. I'm horrible at summeries.

The trial is in a few months, but everyone knows they will not get free this time. Once the search warrants were issued, the evidence was more than damning, and just keeps growing. A pardon was issued for you when proof that you were framed came to light, but no one knew how to find you.”

“I…” Wei Wuxian pauses again, swallowing. Lan Zhan’s gaze softens, and he takes one of Wei Wuxian’s hands in his own, a gentle reassurance. Take your time, the gesture says, I am here for you whenever you are ready.
“Lan Jingyi,” he finally manages, with a shaky breath, “reminded me that I… that I could. Wear white. For mourning. I never did my one hundred days of mourning for… for shijie, for Wen Qing.”
Lan Zhan makes a little noise in the back of his throat.
“I didn’t…” Wei Wuxian inhales, exhales. Breathe. “I had never… thought about that. I don’t remember being dead, Lan Zhan. It feels like… like three weeks ago, I woke up to Wen Qing and Wen Ning gone. Three weeks since shijie took that blade for me. Since… and it hasn’t been three weeks, but I…”
