Summary

Holy SHIT. Oh my fucking god, oh my good god what the FUCK. I am actually at a loss for words because *oh my god*. I had a MAJOR obsession with this game like back when it came out, but this fic just DRAGGED me back in. I cannot put how emotionally DAMAGED I AM RN INTO WORDS. It was like my brain was ripped out of my head and stuffed with one of the most complex character studies and an AMAZING plot before sewn back into my burlap sack of a head.
I really didn't like Ashley when I played the game, but through this fic I love her so fucking much oH MY GOD. I musn't ramble on because character limit is a thing lol but dear god, if you have the energy (and the stomach) for it, this fic is like a god send.

Penguins are overrated, in Katsuki's mind. They smell, they're loud, and they shit every ten minutes. How he ended up working with them, he doesn't know, but he hates it.
Okay, so maybe he needed a pay raise. Sue him. That doesn't mean he enjoys it. It's hard to enjoy getting bit every time he so much as looks at a penguin, after all. Let alone when he tries to handle one.
It certainly doesn't help that he keeps getting paired with Kirishima, who's all smiles and way too damn friendly for his own good.

Or, when Katsuki works as an animal handler because he's broke and hungry, and inadvertently warms up to both the penguins, and a certain red-haired boy.

Summary
A slip-up on a mission causes four young pro heroes to be swept into a villain’s plot that borders on sheer torture: a Quirk that bonds the emotional and physical feelings of two individuals together, forcing them to experience the effects of true empathy in a way they never have before.
