“Is this the game,” Shane questions, shifting forward from the headboard, eyes glancing down to where Ilya's shirt had just fallen.
Ilya watches his gaze and picks up the shirt, moving to drape it over the bedroom dresser instead.
“Your version of strip poker?” Shane asks him.
“Maybe,” Ilya spoke back as he moved his hands down to the waistband of his jeans, waiting for Shane to settle back again before posing his next question.
“When did the Stanley Cup become official trophy?”

“You liked that didn’t you?” Shane said with a smug little expression on his face.
Really too many people called Ilya an asshole when Shane was just as bad, or worse. Shane just hid it better, because Canada’s perfect golden boy could do no wrong.
Ilya moved to cross his arms over his chest and lean back against the headboard, hating how it put even more space between them, but not being able to let Shane think he was right.
“I don’t know what you are talking about.”
“Sure you don't, baby.”
Ilya was definitely not starting to turn the slightest shade of red.

“It's a sticker Hollander,” Rozanov says, arms crossed over his chest and it takes all of Shane’s willpower to keep the annoyance in his face directed at Rozanov and not looking down at where his arms are pulling tight across his chest.
“Do you need glasses to see it better?”
Shane huffs in exasperation before moving to turn around, mirroring Rozanov's stance and hitting him with a look.
“I know it’s a sticker asshole. Why is it on my face?”

“Be like what exactly?” Shane found himself biting out, already regretting the answer the moment the words left his mouth.
Hayden groaned, the sound of his tired exhale hanging in the air as he dropped his greasy bag of fast food onto the nightstand. With a soft rustle of sheets, he settled onto the edge of the bed. Shane could feel his eyes on him, though he was still facing away, not being able to bring himself to meet Hayden’s eyes just yet. “Look, I’m just not used to it yet, alright?” Hayden’s voice was low, edged with frustration. “Can you blame me? We used to talk shit about him all the time, and now I’m just supposed to... what? Like Rozanov?”
