Moving back to your mother’s childhood home isn’t all that bad. No, now you finally get to live a normal, peaceful life in a small town, where the quiet streets promise a chance to free your mind from every torment that once clung to it.
You have never quite allowed your own mind to wander beyond what is ordinary. You have never truly wanted to believe in anything that might make you question what you know.
You are a logical person. Painfully, stubbornly logical and your heart has always remained in the right place—somewhere that should never make you question what you ‘feel’, or where it was always meant to be.
You refuse to let any of that change.
But anything can be changed if fate has already decided so.
When the story has already been written and the ink has long since dried, no amount of logic, doubt, or defiance can erase what was always meant to happen—
or stop your heart from wanting what fate had already chosen.
Those are simply the rules.
And we were never meant to break them.

Your life as a police officer in the quiet and wonderful town of Derry was shit, but hey, it was quiet shit. Well, actually, it was… until your weird town turned into the setting of a high-budget true crime documentary.
You’re self-aware enough to know it’s unlikely you’ll be the one to solve the mystery behind the disappearances and murders. But at the very least, you have to pretend you can. If you were a worse person, you wouldn’t care about the victims and you’d say goodbye to that hellhole. For better and worse, you’re not that selfish.
WARNING: This is a Reader/Pennywise fanfic. Yes, I’ve fallen low. Reader is female, sorry guys. There might be some plot in there somewhere. I don’t know. Basically, this fanfic lives in my head rent-free. Please enjoy reading.

There is one thing the golden daughter of the Danforth family can't do though. It's time for Titus to be useful and make sure the Danforth bloodline continues. When Y/N's cousin sends out an offer to marry his cousin, the Danforth's respond. Perhaps though this necessary arrangement can grow into something a little deeper.
