A cough makes Grian freeze in his tracks, shakes him to his core. Despite all the signs, of all the things he was expecting to find in this cave, a truly sentient creature was not one of them. That’s what scares him the most.
He turns, grabbing his dagger and pointing it at the newcomer, who simply smiles at him, fangs and all.
“Why hello there.”
tldr; Grian is an avian desperate to keep his wings, and he'll do whatever it takes to save himself. Even if it means stealing from a dragon.
(It turns out there's more to the dragon then he thought).

Summary
Grian is on a mission: kill the Red King of the Third Precinct. Unfortunately, when he travels to the capital where the king resides, he lands in a spot of trouble with a local merchant when he accidentally destroys the merchant’s shop. After he enters into a contract to help pay off the damages, he discovers that there might be another side to Scar under the silver-tongued salesman— and that he’s not the only one who wants the Red King dead.

Summary
Tango just wanted to live his life like every other normal guy. Have a little apartment, have a nice job that he loves, maybe make a few of his own games further down the line. He never asked to be a medium - that was something he’d been cursed with (thanks, parents.) Now, on top of the stress of everyday life, he has to deal with random ghosts showing up at his apartment and asking him for favors. How’s a ghost-talker supposed to get any peace and quiet?
Impulse just wanted to show off a little to his friends. Hijack a cult for a few days? No problem! But the cult experience went from creepy to deadly awfully quick, and now with a friend’s life hanging in the balance - and potentially others - Impulse needs to get help and get it quick. Fortunately, there’s a medium who lives not far away from where Impulse was buried. But will he be able to get him to help?
Deep down in a cavern underground, a cult is trying to harness the power of a terrible monster, not caring that they’re feeding the creature’s bloodlust by delivering fresh bodies to it on the regular. Will Tango and Impulse be able to put a stop to it before it's too late? Or are more people destined to be lambs to the slaughter?

Summary
The day after Scar breaks up with Grian, the dead come back to life. Knowing that venturing out alone is a death sentence, the sudden onset of the apocalypse forces them to stick together despite the tensions between them. In the wreckage of the world, they're forced to survive side-by-side, coming to terms with the fact that—try as they might—there's no one they trust more than each other.
“Go!” Grian shouts as the monster charges, putting his whole force into the blow.
Scar watches, frozen stiff as Grian fights until blood and gore and viscera mark the creature up like a Pollock painting.
“What are you waiting for?!” Grian snaps when he finally notices that Scar is still standing there. He grips his weapon tight and attacks a final time, slamming the zombie down—good and dead—and standing panting over top of it, strained but victorious. He starts rushing from the scene, calling back for Scar over his shoulder. “Run!”
And in a way that’s as familiar to him as breathing, Scar chases after him.
