- ¿Hmph? ¡Reo es mi compañero, claro que es diferente! —contestó el chico, esta vez alzando un poco la mirada. En el rostro de Chigiri se notaba claramente la expresión de “¡Bingo!”, acompañada de una pequeña sonrisa burlona.
- ¿Ah sí? ¿Entonces la diferencia entre Reo y el resto de las personas es que es tu compañero? —preguntó con picardía—. Entonces, si yo me convierto en tu compañero, ¿te importaría tanto como te importa Reo?
- Tú no puedes ser mi compañero, porque ya tengo a Reo.
- En un caso hipoté-
- Solo Reo puede ser mi compañero —exclamó Nagi, interrumpiéndolo. Para sorpresa de Chigiri, el peliblanco había apartado el teléfono y lo miraba con seriedad, los ojos llenos de determinación.
- Ohhh... ya entiendo —exclamó Chigiri, notando cómo Nagi se exaltaba un poco—. ¿Y por qué solo Reo puede ser tu compañero?
- Mmm... porque es Reo.
o Chigiri disfruta jugar con la mente de Nagi, hacerlo cuestionarse cosas que parecen obvias para muchos pero imposibles para sus dos amigos quienes batallan con la comunicación. (Típico NagiReo, nunca falta)

"Hmph? Reo’s my partner. Of course it’s different," Nagi answered, this time lifting his gaze slightly.
Chigiri’s face immediately lit up with a knowing smirk. "Bingo," his expression practically said.
"Oh yeah? So the only difference between Reo and everyone else is that he’s your partner?" Chigiri pressed. "Then if I became your partner, would you care about me as much as you care about Reo?"
"You can’t be my partner. I already have Reo."
"Hypothetically spea—"
"Only Reo can be my partner," Nagi interrupted, cutting him off.
or Chigiri enjoys messing with Nagi’s mind, making him question things that seem obvious to most—yet impossible for his two friends who struggle with communication. (Typical NagiReo behavior)
