After a few spins around the galaxy, the Falcon had finally carried Luke all the way back to Tatooine.
A second chance, the Force was telling him. He just wasn’t sure what for.
While everyone else had departed in preparation for Han’s rescue mission, Luke had lingered on the ship as if staying aboard the Falcon would prevent him from feeling the weight of being back on Tatooine. Luke certainly wanted his best friend back from the clutches of Jabba the Hutt, but the thought of setting even a foot back into the warm sand made his chest ache like the pain of a poorly set bone.

The invite to Anakin Skywalker's 50th birthday bash had come as a surprise. Something that Luke had blurted out he as pulled away from a goodbye kiss. But it was only when Din had eagerly agreed to go that Luke mentioned that karaoke would be involved. As much as he hated the activity, there was no way Din was going to back out now.
Besides, what could go wrong?
It turns out a lot could go wrong. At the party, Din discovers that the stakes are a lot higher than Luke had let on and he may have to participate by performing a song so that he can be welcomed into the Skywalker family with open arms. Luckily, Leia’s tipsy husband, Han, has a few ideas on how Din can stay on course.

In the privacy of deepspace, Din allowed himself to pull out the puck Greef had slid over the table. He didn’t like the way his heart had stuttered when the puck had lit up and a young man with a pleasant half-smile stared back at him.
He had immediately shut off the puck as soon as Karga had turned to look at some altercation at the other end of his hall, but now that Din had nothing else to do he stared intently at the blue headshot. He stared intently at its subjects' features and matched it to the face in his memory.
