Award winning photographer Mando doesn't particularly enjoy shooting expensive editorials, but he likes the money.But shooting celebrity Luke Skywalker for Interview Mag's September issue doesn't go how he expects. Skywalker's face is a challenge to shoot; and Mando's not satisfied with how the images turn out even if the mag is.
That's the only reason he invites Skywalker to his private studio; he wants him to sit for his own book of portraits where he'll finally get him right.

”I thought Mandalorians were great warriors,” the Commander said, his voice rough and biting. Din scoffed, still pumped full of adrenaline.
”And I thought the rebellion could do better than a desolate outer rim planet,” he replied, stepping around the wampa’s steaming body and standing toe-to-toe with the Commander. He was shorter than Din thought from afar, and smiled like he’d won a game of sabacc. The gash on his face would undoubtedly scar, but his features were soft, boyish even. “Aren’t you a little young for a commander?”
”Perk of destroying the Death Star, I guess,” he said, before disengaging the light sword and clipping it to his belt. Then to himself, “Leia’s gonna kill me."
Or; Din crash lands on Hoth and by coincidence (or the will of the Force, but who really knows) ends up in the wampa den with Luke before the Battle of Hoth. Cue Luke and Din trying to be normal about each other and failing spectacularly.

Summary
The first thing he saw was Luke’s deadpan expression of frustration, the one that always made the Mandalorian want to massage the frown away. However, the Jedi’s expression quickly morphed into one of shock and horror.
“What the fuck, Din! What the hell happened?”
Din shrugged.
“Nothing to worry about. I’m fine.”
The expression of horror fell. Luke’s face showed a myriad of feelings, a little too fast for Din to decipher at that moment, until it fell into one of blankness.
“Go sit on the cot. I’ll be right back to treat you.”
OR
Din is injured and doesn't want to distract his husband with that. Luke has some things to say about it.

Din is seriously considering chucking the darksaber into the Living Waters and fleeing the Galaxy when he's told that a political marriage is required of him. However, it turns out that the Alderaanian Prince is rather easy on the eyes and Din isn't sure how, but he finds himself completely and utterly infatuated with the omega.

“Why is that funny? This was your idea!"
“I know, I'm fine with it." Din says "-Just looking forward to you getting read the riot act by Kenobi, that's all.”

Because the Universe thinks it's funny, Luke and his colleague, Mando, are both going to the same wedding. And because the Universe has decided it's pursuing a career in comedy, they both have their own reasons for needing a date to it.
The most logical course of action, obviously, is that they pretend to be dating and attend together.

Din has grabbed Luke’s wrist and Luke can hear his heavy breathing through his vocoder in spite of the noise of the jungle.
“Am I?” Luke laughs, strained, heart racing, not moving an inch.
The force is screaming now, and the shimmer in his veins has turned into a fire as he looks up at Din, suddenly realising the urge he was feeling earlier was that he wanted to-
Luke registers just how tight his trousers have become and realizes what’s happening.

Din has been roped into going on missions with the Jedi, destroying old Imp tech and hoping to figure out what they wanted with Grogu. On a deserted planet, they get hit with something that takes their careful, controlled, professional relationship to something else entirely.TLDR; Din and Luke get hit with sex pollen on a mission. It devolves from there.

Summary
Luke understood then that what he did now was about more than just a simple spar. His continued presence among them had been good, but not enough.
He was not with other Jedi now, able to understand each other with a thought. And the whispered words shared alone in hyperspace, or in the kitchen over meals, or murmured to each other over pillows, would never be known to Din’s people.
If he’d learned anything about them after all this time, it was that what they saw, what impressed them, was action.
Or: Luke attends a Mandalorian celebration, and participates in true Mandalorian style.

Din was supposed to be on this dustball of a planet to pick up a new bounty. He didn’t expect to save a desert rat from mean streets and a meaner right hook.
Luke was supposed to grab a quick drink after running errands at Tosche station, maybe even head to the Cantina to see if he could wrangle a free drink from some unsuspecting mudscuffer. He didn’t expect to become wrapped up in intergalactic drama that, truly, has nothing to do with him.
Or so he thought.
A mystery, a political intrigue, a secret lineage, and a forgotten history. Din is begrudgingly sent to investigate signs of Mandalorians on Tatooine, but little does he know that one wild porg chase would result in finding some of the last true Mandalorians.
What does this kid have to do with it? What does Din have to do with it?
And honestly… Why in sith hells is it always him?

“Skywalker.” Din says, crossing his arms, already annoyed at the car parked in his usual spot. Skywalker looks just like Din expected him to. All flash, no substance.
“Exactly,” he grins and looks Din up and down. “-you must be Mando.”
“Guilty as charged.” Din says, “-if you’ll excuse me, I gotta bring-”
“Want some help?”
“No.” Din says, immediately. “-it’s my job.”
“Oh, I don’t mind.” Luke grins, “-Owen would insist on helping you.”
It’s annoying that Mando is handsome, Luke thinks. Makes it harder to hate this interloper on sight.
“You’re not Owen.” Mando points out, raising a brow.
Luke gets the feeling he’s just been insulted straight to his face.
“No.” Luke says, "I'm not.”
Nevermind. Maybe hating Mando will be easier than he expects.Camie's getting married. Estranged from Owen & Beru, Luke goes home for the first time in 10 years. He's not looking forward to meeting their farmhand, the man who’s been living his old life ever since he left. Din isn’t particularly excited to meet Luke either; not when he already hates him for abandoning people who are like family to him now.

Summary
The Rebel Alliance has their doomed cause, and now Han Solo has his: Keep Luke Skywalker breathing until he realizes what a karking naïve idiot he is and unquestioningly follows all of Han's advice.
Han Solo is a scoundrel, and a rogue, and a guy who's just trying his best when Luke Skywalker fumbles chest over camtono into his life. Turns out he might sorta love the guy in all the ways there is to love another person, even as they fight a civil war and life and circumstances change both themselves and everything else around.
The problem is that Luke's a little lonely by nature and always on the hunt for love, and Han, who's sworn to protect the kid from both the universe at large and his own efforts toward idiotic martyrdom, doesn't think that there's anybody in the galaxy who's even close to good enough for him. Han's not going to stick his nose into any of Luke's relationships, not if Luke doesn't want him to, but boy howdy do they give him one hell of a headache.
[Or, the 5+1 things fic that spun entirely out of my control, where it's Han, Luke, the five men who loved and lost Luke, and the one he eventually married, all over the course of 10 years. Spoiler alert, it's not Han.]
