Summary
The Twin Jades were destined to marry for the sake of ending wars and forging alliances between the various sects. This arrangement was designed to ensure peace and prevent further conflict and loss of life. Summary
Wei Wuxian presents as an omega just over a month after they arrive for the Cloud Recesses lectures.
The thing is... no one expected him to actually be an omega, and his presentation is, in a word, messy. Feral omegas aren't natural, not as far as those in power are concerned, and they certainly aren't meant to cultivate alongside alphas and betas.
They definitely aren't supposed to form a fractured bond with an alpha like Lan Wangji, who does not handle the situation well in the moment, and is then forced to watch the aftermath his actions cause. Meanwhile, Wei Wuxian struggles to come to terms with what it means to be an omega, and how it feels to be rejected by the only person your soul has ever cried out for.
Spoiler alert: It's not fucking great

Summary
Teenager Lan Jingyi is a vlogger obsessed with the Yiling Patriarch, who's supposed to have died thirteen years ago under mysterious circumstances. Jingyi however is convinced there was a major conspiracy to take down the Yiling Patriarch, involving international secret societies, corrupt cultivator politics, and quite possibly aliens (one of these is true). While shooting a vlog with his friends in an abandoned town rife with resentful energy, they are rescued from fierce corpses by a rogue cultivator named Mo Xuanyu. Lan Wangji, for some unfathomable reason, keeps calling him Wei Ying. Jin Ling is irritated, Sizhui is acting weird, and Ouyang Zizhen keeps asking Hanguang Jun and Senior Mo about their sun signs. Meanwhile, there are traces of dark cultivation in Yi City. Are they getting closer to the truth behind the Yiling Patriarch? Or is there a different demonic cultivator playing cat and mouse with them?
