Summary

The hands of fate must have been having a laugh when they’ve finally fulfilled Tony’s wish. That or they were all pissed drunk with Loki because what other deity could have cursed Tony to such a fate: soulmate to none other than Captain America himself.
He truly wants to blame Loki for this awful luck.

Sydney sighed, “No.”
She tried to imagine how it would go but in every scenario telling someone that everything about their lives was fake and wrong ended with one or both of them in psychiatric treatment and Gemma, their daughter in the care of others and not her unfit, delusional parents. Look, Harley didn't plan for any of this.
He didn't plan for Peter grab him in the middle of the street, his eyes wide with panic, saying some random thugs were chasing after him. He didn't plan to offer to help Peter hide in plain sight however he needed.
And he certainly didn't plan for the way Peter was suddenly pulling Harley so very close.
(And he definitely didn't plan to enjoy the, uh... distraction quite so much.)
