Summary
After Five-Leg Pentathlon, the players vote on whether they want to continue or not in The Games. Convinced by Gi-Hun and terrified by the dire situation, although many people are willing to continue, the majority wishes to leave, and the players return to their everyday reality.
Gi-Hun, back in Seoul, is certain of what will come next: despite having left, it's only a matter of time before the players demand to come back . Such is ominosity of both those macabre games and Reality itself.
His resolve remains steadfast: ending The Games for good is his priority. While he contacts the search team, now lost in the Yellow Sea, to plot a new strategic route, he seeks to regain contact with the friends he made while playing. Helping them could be crucial to saving their lives.
In-Ho, now hiding under the alter ego of Young-Il, will be tasked with keeping a close eye on Gi-Hun. In or out of that playground, the ephemeral light of Gi-Hun's presence will end up diluting in the dark compendium that he exerts over him.

Después del Pentatlón a Cinco Piernas, los jugadores votan si quieren seguir jugando. Convencidos por Gi-Hun y aterrorizados ante la situación extrema, aunque son muchas las personas que votan por continuar, las cruces acaban siendo mayoritarias y los jugadores vuelven a su realidad cotidiana.
Gi-Hun, que ha regresado a Seúl, conoce la realidad de esos juegos: a pesar de haber salido, solo es cuestión de tiempo que los jugadores quieran regresar. Su voluntad se mantiene firme: acabar con los juegos de forma definitiva es su prioridad. Mientras entra en contacto con el equipo de búsqueda, ahora perdido en el Mar Amarillo, para trazar una nueva ruta estratégica, busca recuperar el contacto con los amigos que hizo jugando. Ayudar a las personas con las que entabló contacto podrá ser determinante para salvar sus vidas.
In-Ho, ahora escondido bajo el alter ego de Young-Il, se encargará de vigilar a Gi-hun de cerca. Dentro o fuera de los juegos, la luz efímera de su presencia acabará diluyéndose en el compendio oscuro que ejerce sobre él.

It’s been two months since the storm, and Childe hasn’t seen Zhongli not even once, not since that fateful meeting with the Signora where the truth is finally unveiled.
And what a fun little kick to the gut that is, the realization that not only had he been played by all sides, but he's also being tossed aside like trash now that his use had run its course.
It’s not that Childe doesn’t get it. He’s a Harbinger. He knows first-hand what it means to do his duty, to put the mission first and his personal feelings far, far away, preferably locked up in a box, where it wouldn’t interfere with his job. He knows what it’s like working with vipers, to scheme and plot and lie in wait for the opportune moment to stab his opponent in the back.
But this time, this time Childe can’t help but feel a little (a lot) gutted.
Stupid. He’s gotten himself stupidly attached.
