Summary
A good home, a loving family; those are the kind of things most people aspire for. The idea of being able to come back after a long day to those who love and cherish you and know that you are safe and nothing can hurt you. What most don’t know and sadly too many have to learn is just how easily that safety and security can be taken away from you in the blink of an eye and leave you feeling very much alone in a dark and seemingly hopeless place.
Peter Parker was thirteen years old when he learnt this lesson.

Summary
Given that over the course of the past eleven months Peter Parker hasn't contracted so much as a head-cold, the teenager thought it safe to assume that the whole 'irradiated spider bite' gig had equipped him with an immune system of steel that rivalled Captain America's.
So when he wakes up one night in the midst of the worst asthma attack he's suffered in almost eight years, neither he nor the rest of the team can think of a logical explanation.
And everything sort of goes downhill from there.(Set in an Alternative Universe where Peter moved into the Avengers’ Tower following the events of The Amazing Spider-Man.)

It starts with a dream and ends with something that resembles strutting more than tiptoeing; in other words, Bruce has a new-found obsession with Tony, Tony finds that endearing and wants to take it further while everyone else – including Bruce – seems to think it might actually be a very bad idea.
Chapters 11, 14, 15, 16, 25 and 26 were written for separate prompts at avengerkink.
A scene in chapter 17 was inspired by Brilcrist’s art.
