Shidou Ryuusei undraped his painting.
As the red cover slipped off the textured canvas, he said, “and this is my gift to you, Sae-chan.”The man with sakura flushed hair stared at the grotesque shapes that barely curved into the form of a human, yet within the lines were overlapping circles and squares and triangles that were so vivid it were as though multiple colour wheels flung out all of its colours.
Ryuusei, for once, said nothing. To his surprise, Sae’s face twisted briefly before straightening into a joyful laugh. His voice accentuated the thick, wintery air, and it made the snow bearable.

Summary
In front of him, the kid’s holding a quite large square-shaped box. There’s a fancy little label on the top, indicating that it was most likely the product of a pastry store. Ryusei looks down on the box, and then his irises moves up to Charles, raising an eyebrow at him.
“What’s that supposed to be, huh?”
“What else do you think it is, Mr. Shidou?” Charles questioned him in a slightly sassy tone, he forgot how mean junior students can be sometimes. “A cake, duh! Did you seriously forgot what day it is today?”

Summary
Chapter one: Ryusei Shidou and Sae Itoshi wash up on an island with no means of adieu, but with the weight and judgements of modern civilization lifted off of their shoulders, they can't exactly call it "survival".
Chapter two: back in Japan, Ryusei Shidou awakes in hospital. Once again, he feels as if his career has been put on hold.
Chapter three: Both discharged, Sae Itoshi and Ryusei Shidou are expected to resume their life, but that's easier said than done.

Summary
Sae’s heart gets broken, so jokingly he draws a pentagram, circles it with salt just in case, and recites bad verses from an old, absurd tome — a cookbook, no less — to summon a demon for his vengeance.
But the joke’s on him. The ritual works, and before he knows what’s happening, there’s a demon in his kitchen, looking as murderous to be there as Sae is shocked to see it. Now, Sae is stuck with an actual demon, but not quite far from the revenge fantasy he had momentarily entertained.

"I'm not- you kill yourself, Sae!" Shidou exclaims. "You kill yourself today, and I'm supposed to fix it! All of a sudden I have to care about you again, and I'm just not fucking ready!"
Sae's eyes widen, as if he's taken aback. "What are you talking about?" he asks defensively. "I-"
"I'm just not ready," Shidou says lamely. "I know it makes me selfish, but I can't do it today. I'm sorry, Sae. I'll see you in the next loop."---
Sae Itoshi jumps off his balcony, and now it's Ryusei Shidou's problem. Shidou finds himself trapped in a timeloop where it appears the end goal is to save Sae's life, but is it possible for the two to heal after a world of hurt?
