And so, in the week before the whole family and ton are due to descend on Aubrey Hall for the annual Hearts and Flowers Ball, Lady Violet has invited a select group of eligible ladies to the Hall to participate in a series of challenges where the ultimate prize is up for grabs: marriage to one of the three oldest Bridgerton brothers. This started out as a purely crack fic but I accidentally kept adding plot and making myself cry. There is still quite a lot of crack though. If you crave period accuracy, sorry. I researched some bits with fervour and then hugged an anachronism or two for the giggles.

With both her sisters mated and married, Penelope's entrance into the Process is imminent.
When Eloise goes to Colin and begs him to help Penelope, he comes up with a plan to safeguard Penelope from ending up with the likes of Nigel Berbrooke or, God forbid, someone worse.
Trigger warnings for dub-con, if you're concerned. Essentially, the way this Process works, the Omegas don't get a lot of say in who their Alphas will be, it's down to whether the Alpha chooses the Omega and not the other way around. Also, the Omegas are bound, gagged, and blindfolded throughout this process to make sure only their scent is on offer to the Alphas.
