It seemed like things had changed for the better, and Bumblebee found a reason to smile. It was this reason that made even the most boring of days on Earth bearable. He hoped that it would last, and yet his happiness was torn away so quickly. When had it all gone so wrong?
He realized far too late that it was incredibly hard not to think about someone when your entire world revolved around them and everything around you seemed to serve as a painful reminder.

Update: oh my it's been a while. Just letting you guys know, I have NOT forgotten about this story. It just kills me to write it, I have a lot of studying/work going on rn and to top it off, prose writing kills me. I could handle it before but I've now started screenplay formats (I'm learning to be a screenwriter, you see) and now I can't turn back. The rest of the story will still be prose writing because it started that way so I'm finishing it that way. I've also gotten into another series (sorry) but I do want to finish this. I really appreciate that you're still tuned in, thank you 🙏🙏🙏
Another edit: hey there, I’ve been writing this next chapter and omg none of it sounds right. Unfortunately, prose is really killing me. Micheal Afton's carbon copy status was always a curse, rather than a blessing. He'd been arrested multiple times for things his father did. The animatronics at Freddy's had tried to kill him. Worst of all, his appearance had pissed off that trashpile in the location his boyfriend worked at, putting Jeremy into a coma.
Now, he's not sure why he isn't more dead.

Michael’s heart stops for a second and he panics. Were they about to kiss?
Jeremy’s lips brush his cheek, and his husky voice can be heard next to Michael’s ear. “Thanks for spending time with me,” he gives Michael a squeeze around his waist before letting go, “it means a lot.”
“Of course,” Michael breathed, sucking in a deep breath. With his nose right next to Jeremy’s neck, he could smell the cologne he’d applied at some point, rich and slightly intoxicating. Michael let him pull back and they stood there for a moment, soaking in the other’s presence.
Michael wanted to kiss him. He doesn’t think he’s ever wanted to kiss anybody this badly.
