Summary
A Shakarian romance that goes above & beyond (or at least before & after) what we were given in the games - including eventually into Andromeda. Some canon, some AU - the characters don't always follow the arc they were given. This is my take on my favorite romance. Enjoy!

Summary
She’d done absolutely everything she could to prepare; every milk run and unrelated side mission. The Normandy was outfitted with every upgrade she could get her hands on. Her core was shielded, her hull was reinforced and Garrus had spent all his free time calibrating the new Thanix Cannon so it outperformed its own manufacturer’s specs. All she had left to do was storm the Collector ship. Despite her best efforts, she feared she was marching the people she loved to their deaths.
Thane and Garrus give Shepard a break from the weight of command for the evening.
