Summary
When Avid is at the end of his rope, struggling to stand on his own in the city, a strange meeting with a lawyer changes everything. Hunted down by a relative Avid never knew about, He gains everything he could ever want in the world with just a few requirements. 1. He must travel to the Oakhurst Motel, the family's remaining legacy, that is located practically in the middle of nowhere. 2. He must return the Hotel to it's former glory and run and care for it just like his ancestors once did in order to keep access to his inheritance. 3. Mind the squatters and promote a sanctuary for all the 'weary travelers' to have a place to rest. Just what Has Avid gotten himself into by accepting this inheritance?

Summary
The man hovering over him leaned back, releasing Grian completely. Cold night air rushed in to fill the void.
“I guess it’s out in the open now,” the stranger hummed. “Shame. I wanted to avoid this.”
With the additional glow occupying the space between them, Grian was finally able to catch features that were lost in the prior darkness. His curiosity outweighed all else, and he drank them in greedily. As soon as he saw who sat across from him, alarms blared in his mind.
This man wasn’t a civilian, wasn’t even a hero.
“Hello, Doctor,” the villain mused. “You were quite the help today.”
