There are no biblical descriptions of purgatory, you’re not sure if one is necessary. The walls of your father's home suffocate you. The calendar strung up in the hall taunts with the date. The 1st of the month, beer day. Another endless cycle, another rerun of previously experienced events, complete with the landlord special disguising itself as a fresh coat of premium paint, a “new spin” on what you already know is to come.

It seems that life truly has become a joke at this point. With the sun radiating the air like it has one mission: to eliminate all life. Ironic, isn't it. And the most fucked up part? No one cares. It’s too hot outside? Fuck you. You still gotta earn a living.
Which is how Yesenin finds himself stuck inside the bar he works at in the daylight sun. Two barely working fans being the only sources of coolness that hardly bless his face. How unfortunate.
At least he isn't stuck alone.
